Fitzgerald State School has recently become a 'Kids Matter' school. Successful schools start with healthy minds! Kids Matter Primary is a flexible, whole-school approach to children’s mental health and wellbeing for primary schools. It works both on its own and as an umbrella under which a school’s existing programs can comfortably fit.
At Fitzgerald State School, we have included such things as our whole school values program and are providing our school community with the methods, tools and support to help schools, parents and carers, health services and the wider community nurture happy, balanced kids.
A range of resources are available from the Kids Matter website to support the implentation of Kids Matter in our school. All schools are able to access these resources via this website.
